Security sources revealed that Algeria increased its intelligence and security cooperation with number of neighboring countries including, Tunisia, Tripoli, Bamako and Niger to besiege the new extremist organization called “Islam and Muslims supporters” in south of Mali near the Algerian borders, and these countries are in daily contact to come up with a plan to fight those extremists. The media websites of these organizations said that “Oqba Ib Nafi’” battalion, stationed in Tunisian mountains and one of the organizations that threaten security in Tunisia, announced its merger with the new extremist organization in Africa “Islam and Muslims supporters”.   Algeria, Tunisia, Tripoli and Bamako are trying to identify the elements of this new organization, along with Daesh elements in Mali. Algeria is also trying hard to locate the leader of El Morabtoon battalion, who pledged his allegiance to the new organization, Mokhtar Belmokhtar. The new organization is led by, Iyad Ghali who has been in Mauritania since 2016, moving secretly and he is wanted in many countries on top of them are, Algeria, Unites States and France.   Algeria increased its security reinforcements on the borders with Tunisia to stop extremists from entering the country, especially in the current stage, which coincides with the parliamentary elections. The Algerian Army keeps searching mountains and forests to catch and stop extremists from escaping. The army also launched a security operation in the high mountains of Constantine and Skikda in an attempt to stop “Islam and Muslims Supports” group.   The Algerian army with the Special Forces and military machinery conducted a wide searching operation in El Zhour valley, after arresting an extremist specialized in making explosives. The Algerian leadership office said that armed terrorists can surrender themselves in exchange of benefiting from the measures adopted by the 2005 Charter for Peace and National Reconciliation. President Bouteflika asked the Algerian people in the same year on passing this project as an attempt to stop the civil war which resulted in killing 250.0000 victims.
