Arab Open University (AOU) has commended the tremendous success achieved by Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) in organizing the first-ever National Sports Day on February 7.
AOU Bahrain branch Director Dr Khaldoon Abdulrazzaq Al Roomi lauded the efforts of the BOC in bringing this event, which aimed to promote public health, motivate people to work out, and build concepts of taking sport as a healthy lifestyle.
Al Roomi also noted the efficiency of the Sports Day standing committee members and for their active role in cooperating with members of the University, wishing BOC continued progress in supporting youth and sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This came in an official letter sent by Al Roomi to Supreme Council for Youth and Sports deputy general secretary and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar.
