Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali hailed the dedicated national efforts of the Labour Fund.

Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa hailed the dedicated national efforts of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) in boosting the Bahraini people's contribution to the national economy by improving their competence and competitiveness in the labour market. He was speaking as he received today Tamkeen Chief Executive Ibrahim Janahi.


The Southern Governor pointed out a plan to hold programmes to boost productivity in small enterprises and help create new job opportunities. He also reviewed with Tamkeen CEO opportunities for joint cooperation and programmes provided by Tamkeen to cater for citizens' demands. He stressed the importance of carrying out projects to promote entrepreneurship and enable citizens to assume their national role in developing the national economy.

Tamkeen CEO thanked the Southern Governor for his interest in implementing programmes to achieve set up goals, boost citizens' capabilities and provide them with a favourable climate to enroll in the labour market.
