Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa has received Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah), Amin Al Arrayedh.

The meeting was held on Tuesday also attended by Manager at Bahrain Real Estate Investment (Edamah), Fahad Al Saad, and Advisor at the BTEA, Jesus Florido-Banqueri.

During the meeting, Shaikh Khaled stressed the importance of strengthening ties, increasing cooperation and reinforcing bilateral relations between both entities, which comes as part of the BTEA’s strategy to develop the Kingdom’s tourism infrastructure. Various joint projects were discussed and a strategic coordination mechanism was established in order to strengthen collaboration between the tourism and real estate sectors.

Shaikh Khaled referred to BTEA’s readiness to support Edamah’s tourism-related projects, wishing them success in their future plans.

"The new development projects, which provide a wide range of leisure and entertainment facilities; are appealing attractions for locals and residents; moreover, draw in tourists from across the GCC. This further strengthens the Kingdom’s position as an ideal tourist destination in the region, increasing the tourism sector’s contribution to the national economy," Shaikh Khaled also said.

Al Arrayed praised the BTEA’s efforts to improve the tourism sector and develop it to benefit the Kingdom of Bahrain by promoting the identity at tourist attractions, events as well as local and international exhibitions, further attracting foreign investment and increasing the sector’s contribution to the national economy.
