HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association and Honorary President of the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation asserted that having Coca-Cola among the sponsors of the Khalid bin Hamad Theatres Festival For National Clubs, Youth Centres and People With Disability is a great gain for the festival and the goals it is set for in its third edition.
The festival is organised for the third consecutive on October 4 to 21 at Muharraq Model Youth Centre by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the Media Office of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. It comes within Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Initiatives to support the youth of the Kingdom of Bahrain and engage them with different events and activities.

This year's edition is themed #Let's_Plant_A_Smile and aims at empowering the youth in the fields of cultural and humanitarian works.

12 plays will be demonstrated by local youth clubs during the 18 day long festival, which will also include three additional shows that will be held on the sidelines of the main shows.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa praised Coca-Cola and its initiatives to support the youth of the Kingdom of Bahrain and their events and activities.

Mohammed Aqeel, Managing Director of Coca-Cola, said that the HH’s initiatives has many positives, noting that the directives of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad to include people with disabilities has put a smile on the faces.

He highlighted that the inclusion of people with disabilities in the festival reflects HH’s concern about this important category of the Bahraini society.

On the other hand, National Foundation for the Services of People with Disabilities announced that it will perform the "Auspicious Visit" play during the festival, directed by Abdulrahman Bujheeri, who thanked HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for patronising the festival for the third consecutive year.
