Spokesman for the Jordanian Interior Ministry Ziad Zoabi stressed on Wednesday that Daesh militant group has opened the gates of hell after killing pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh.
The execution of two Iraqi militants is considered a message and not a response, he told MENA.
Jordan executed at dawn of today Sajida al Rishawi and Ziad Karbouli in its first reaction to the killing of Kasasbeh.
Kasasbeh was burnt alive in a cage and the videotape was released by the militant group on Tuesday.
"This black group opened gates of hell by this heinous crime," he said, vowing an earth-shaking response to this crime.
The bodies of the two executed militants will be buried and not burned as this is the tradition of the kingdom, he added.
He dismissed that their bodies would be handed over to their relatives, saying they are not living in the kingdom.
