Interior minister calls on officers to treat citizens well

Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghaffar held a meeting Wednesday with the directors of the criminal investigation departments at security directorates across the republic.

During the meeting, the minister appreciated the efforts the officers exerted recently to foil many criminal plots against citizens and thanked the policemen for their efforts.

The minister called on the directors to improve the treatment of citizens out of the holiness of the security work and also called for developing the criminal investigation work.

Minister Abdel Ghaffar asserted that security agencies are the main partner in protecting the state security and stability, pointing out that the Ministry of Interior is working on respecting laws and applying them on all Egyptians.

The minister highlighted the importance of promoting the training of policemen and arming them well to enable police to deal with the criminals in an affective way.
