A security plan to secure celebrations of Eidul Adha has been put into effect, under directives of Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar, a well-placed security source at the Ministry of Interior said on Sunday.
In statements to MENA, the source added that all vacations of policemen have been cancelled till the end of the celebrations.
Following last week's meeting with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Abdel Ghaffar discussed the president's directives with regard to securing the Eid celebrations.
The security plan focuses on preemptive security campaigns at both political and criminal levels as well as intensified security presence nationwide.
