Interior minister urges aides to double efforts to maintain security
Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar

Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar called on security agencies to be on high alert and double efforts in pursuit of dangerous criminals who intimidate citizens.
Abdel Ghaffar made the call during his meeting on Tuesday with a number of his aides and security chiefs and officials.
He lauded the role of policemen side by side with the Armed Forces to face extremist groups in Sinai.
He also reviewed the current security situation in the country.
“Unprecedented challenges resulted from the chaos and instability in neighboring countries impose taking decisive measures to maintain security necessary for comprehensive development,” he said.
He called for continuing campaigns to remove encroachments on state-owned lands.
