
The spokesman for the Foreign Ministry said that details of the death of Egyptian citizen, Mohamed Adel Roshdi, in the United States "are still unknown".
Egypt's Consul-General in Chicago Ambassador Mohamed Abo el Dahab left for Indiana state on Thursday to follow up the outcome of investigations into his death, the spokesman said in statements on Friday.
The Egyptian citizen, who was born on January 31, 1954, was found dead in the United States on April 22. The cause of his death was asphyxia, according to the US investigator.
The Egyptian consulate in Chicago was notified of his death on Wednesday, April 27, the spokesman noted.
