Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, welcomed at his Yarzeh office on Friday Finnish Deputy Foreign Minister, Samuli Virtanen, who visited him along with an accompanying delegation and Finnish Ambassador to Lebanon, Lassila Matte.
The meeting discussed developments in Lebanon and the region, and the means to boost cooperation between the armies of the two countries.
Talks also touched on the endeavors of the Finnish unit operating within the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon
