Foreign Ministry denies Egypt's request of Israeli mediation in Renaissance dam file

The Foreign Ministry spokesman denied news reports that Egypt has asked for Israeli mediation in the Renaissance dam file during the recent visit by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry to Israel.
The spokesman asserted that Shoukry's talks in Israel focused on means of settling the Palestinian-Israeli dispute and other political files relevant to bilateral relations.
He also asserted that three-way cooperation between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia is strong enough to achieve common interests and the principles agreement signed on March 23, 2015 in Khartoum is the framework for the three-way relations vis-a-vis Renaissance Dam.
