Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Friday described the Egyptian-Saudi relations as deeply-rooted.
In an interview with Al Arabiya News channel, the minister said that visions of the two countries at regional and international levels are fully identical.
He denied media reports claiming that there are differences between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
There is full coordination in all issues between the two countries, Shoukry said.
Egypt is part of the Arab coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen. Egypt plays a vital role related to securing the maritime border of Yemen, ensuring that no weapons reach the Houthis, securing the navigation in the Red Sea, and taking part in the military operation through the maritime presence, he added.
Egypt and Saudi Arabia have joint goals on Syria. The two countries aim at maintaining the unity and sovereignty of the Syrian territory. Egypt fully supports the political path in the Arab country, the minister said.
Egypt is committed to the Arab League's decision to designate Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, he added.
On Turkey, Shoukry said that Egypt has no conditions to achieve any reconciliation. "Egypt expects positive relations with countries with which it has historical ties. there are challenges -not caused by Egypt- that must be overcome."
He expressed the hope the Turkish side would understand that Egypt did not take any negative steps and looks forward to restoring cooperation and positive relations based on respect and non-interference in its internal affairs.
On the murder of Italian student Giulio Regeni, the minister said that Egypt fully cooperated with Italy in this regard and is keen to continue its well-established relations with Italy.
