UN High Commissioner for Refugees Meets Qatar's Ambassador
Geneva - Arab Today
The High Commissioner of the United Nations for Refugees (UNHCR) Filippo Grandi met with HE the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Office in Geneva Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen and develop cooperation in protecting the rights of refugees, supporting and alleviating their suffering, and providing them with the necessary humanitarian needs in all parts of the world.
His Excellency pointed to the important role played by the UNHCR, stressing the State of Qatar's keenness on continued support to the UNHCR's efforts.
