Azhar Imam exchanges greetings with Bahrain’s king on Eid

Grand Imam of Al Azhar Dr Ahmed el Tayyeb exchanged greetings on Sunday with Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.
In a phone call, El Tayyeb expressed Al Azhra’s support for Bahrain’s stability and hailed the Bahraini King’s efforts to maintain his country’s unity through facing regional challenges in collaboration with Arab leaders.
Also, El Tayyeb wished more progress and stability for all Arab and Islamic countries’ peoples.
For his part, King Hamad asserted that the kingdom takes pride in Al Azhar and appreciates Al Azhar Imam’s scientific and intellectual efforts to serve Muslims.
