Tens of Palestinians threw rocks and Molotov cocktails, set tyres on fire, and built stone barriers in confrontations with Israeli occupation forces armed with heavy artillery in al-Ramm town in Jerusalem. The forces attacked the northeastern town with gas bombs, poisonous bombs, teargas, as well as live and rubber ammunition. Palestinian sources said that the town's entrance has been witnessing a widespread strike to mourn the death of 25-year-old al-Aqsa martyr Tal'at Ramia, who was shot yesterday in the chest and stomach, then held as he bled by Israeli authorities until they allowed his ambulance to take him to hospital. The sources added that the clashes centered near an occupation camp on the opposite side of the main street extending from Qalandia checkpoint. Al-Ramm witnessed yesterday violent confrontations, mostly downtown, in protest against Israeli forces attacks on al-Aqsa Mosque, desecrating it and attacking worshippers, stirring a strong response from the organized occupation who reinforced their presence with military artillery and tens of soldiers who opened fire on angry youths.
