A European press institution granted on Thursday its first-of-its-kind annual reward to the head of the French-Egyptian Friendship Group at the French parliament and the director general of the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research.
This came at a ceremony held at a military academy in Paris in the presence of Egypt's Ambassador to France Ihab Badawy and a raft of French journalists and politicians.
L'Association De Presse Européenne pour le Monde Arabe (APEMA) decided to grant its annual reward to two Arab and European figures as part of its efforts to bolster ties between Arab countries and France.
