Sultan hails joint American University of Sharjah event

Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah and President of the American University of Sharjah His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi expressed his satisfaction with the results of the joint conference between the American University of Sharjah and UK University of Cambridge, which concluded on Monday.Sheikh Sultan said so while receiving Professor Yasir Suleiman, head of the conference and founding director of Alwaleed Bin Talal Centre of Islamic Studies, University of Cambridge, at his office in the American University of Sharjah on Tuesday.Suleiman briefed Sheikh Sultan on the results of the conference and the topics discussed during it including issues related to the GCC countries, visual media in the Middle East, Islamic commercial transactions and urban development in the region.
