He said, "Cairo University was built from the beginning to enlighten the minds of those who fought vigorously to lay the foundation stone for this great scientific edifice. And what we do today does not compare at all with their diligent efforts."

Sheikh Sultan noted, "Egypt was hit by a period of darkness brought by the nocturnal birds".

He pointed out that during his meeting with President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, they exchanged views on intellectual enlightenment project to protect Egypt.

At the conclusion of his tour, President of University of Cairo presented a memento shield to Sheikh Sultan in recognition to his continuous support to the university.
