Fayyoum university students ignore call for strike

Fayyoum university students ignored calls on social media sites for staging a strike inside the university on Tuesday.
The students attended the lectures and exams in some faculties without problems according to a university professor.
But tens of students staged demonstrations inside the university campus to protest a court ruling acquitting former president Hosni Mubarak and security officials of killing demonstrators during the January 25 revolution.
Anti-riot police prevented the students from leaving the campus.
