Egyption universities council asserts firm actions to combat violence
Cairo - MENA
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab held a meeting Saturday with the Supreme Council of Universities to discuss combating riots at universities. During the meeting attended by ministers of interior, higher education, and finance, the premier underscored the importance of combating all forms of violence and terrorism that may affect the educational process. Mahlab said there is societal responsibility for continuing the school year with respect to rights and law. The meeting also took up plots by Muslim Brotherhood members who incite violence and riots at universities. The ministers asserted respect to freedom of expression
