Youssef Dawoud dead after struggle with illness

Egyptian actor, Youssef Dawoud, died on Sunday morning at the age of 74, after a long struggle with illness. Dawoud's health saw a critical deterioration in the last few days, as he was transferred to the Health Insurance Hospital in his hometown, Alexandria. The veteran actor performed in more than 186 artistic works throughout his career including movies, plays and television dramas. Dawoud's funeral will take place at noon on Sunday at Saint Mark's Church in Alexandria, the mourning ceremony will be held the same evening at the same church.
