Arab Today, arab today Yousra: Shows do not lose momentum in Ramadan

Cairo - Khaled Ali
Egyptian actress and media icon Yousra has said that the idea that dramas lose momentum during Ramadan was “heresy” as all her TV shows enjoy the same viewership across Egyptian and Arab audiences. Yousra told Arabstoday: “I hear a famous saying repeated each year, 'drama this year will be a grinder', and I laugh every time because viewership remains high and even if a series is not seen by many during Ramadan, it will be received well after Ramadan”. She added: “I am very happy because of the positive comments I received about my show 'Sharbat Louz' which airs this Ramadan. I hope the next episodes will receive the same positive comments as I received before.” “Sharbat Louz” stars Yousra, Samir Ghanem, Ragaa al-Gedawy, Samy Maghawry and Saba Moubarak. The series was written by Tamer Habib and directed by Khaled Mareay.
