Tawfik doesn’t ride Islamists’ wave

The Egyptian singer Ehab Tawfik denied what was said in the art circles, accusing him of trying to ride the Islamists’ wave after their victory in the Egyptian elections, because of his intention to record Al-Qur’an of his voice. Tawfik said “everybody knows that it was my biggest dream, even when the Islamists were banned by the former regime.” He also denied what was reported about giving up the romantic songs, confirming that he will release his new album soon.
