Arab Today, arab today Sawsan Badr: Stripping rumour is ridiculous

Cairo - ArabsToday

Artist Sawsan Badr was highly surprised after what has been published on Facebook about her wanting to strip, and take her clothes off one by one, in order to break up the protests in Tahrir Square.  She considers it a ridiculous rumour which does not even merit a response. Rumours have spread after Badr took part in protests in Roxy Square to promote the support of the Military Council and an end to the protests in order for Egypt to start economic production again. Sawsan stressed that the rumours are so ridiculous because anyone who knows her knows that she would never say these things, and that the videos in which she appears are actually videos of her promoting stability in Egypt, so that life can go back to normal. She added that she has no regrets at all about attending protests in Roxy Square.
