Samira Saeed celebrates with fans

Moroccan singer Samira Saeed finished her stint on talent show The Voice of Life last Wednesday after Sharif Ismail took the number one spot. The last episode featured a birthday surprise for the singer as the contestants and jury dedicated a song to her. Samira celebrated her birthday by inviting a number of her fans, some from as far afield as Spain and Morocco, to party by her side. The lucky fans also got to see Samira perform several duets with the show’s contestants before taking to the stage alone to show off her vocal skills. The star will shortly return to Cairo to record the rest of her new album after making some serious last-minute tweaks to the record which resulted in her having to postpone its release until late summer.
