Cairo - Marwa Yehia
Egyptian actor Khaled Nabawi stated on his Facebook page and Twitter account that Egypt's revolution would not stop unless the regime was completely toppled. “Oh our country won’t calm down until it's overthrown the regime, and everyone has to know this nation will continue its revolution until the regime is toppled.” About the role of religious organisations, Nadawi wrote: “Churches' and mosques' rolea are to promote participation in elections, as all other non-political organisations do, and not stand for any political party or candidate.” “I can’t believe that the church asked people to vote in favour of some candidates, and if it happened, someone should do something, as it is an uncontrolled act,” he added. Nadawi continued: “People are not against the army, we are in the street to protect our great army.”
