Madlen Tabar to Arabstoday: honored for recognition in new film

The Egyptian Marine Academy on Thursday night will honor Lebanese star Madlen Tabar, for her participation on artistic works about the October war. Madlen Tabar told Arabstoday: "I feel proud to receive this honor by the Egyptian marine academy for my role in the film "El Tarik Ela Eilat" (Road to Eilat) which showcases the importance of the Egyptian navy in the great October war.". She added "I suffer from the same depression that Arabs went through before October war, due to the recent instability in the Arab world". "El Tarik Ela Eilat" (Road to Eilat), Madlen's first major role, made her very popular in Arab cinema.
