Lebanese Idol judge praises 'Arab hope'

Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram confirmed to Arabstoday that her fame has not distanced her from the people. Ajram said she will always be akin to the “people who believed in my talent and artistic presence.” The singer’s love for her fans is portrayed in the video for her new song. The video, under the direction of Walid Nassif, features the singer surrounded by her fans, Ajram pointed out that the song is an ode to those “people who loved her.” Ajram explained that despite the ongoing instability of some Arab countries, the “Arab people love life and never give up hope.” Regarding her participation as a judge in TV show Arab Idol, Ajram said “the experience is unique; I love it.” The singer confirmed she is set to appear in many concerts and festivals this year.
