Jaden Smith praises dad Will Smith in new single "Offering."
The 16-year-old rapper released the track on sister Willow Smith's Soundcloud account Tuesday, writing, "This Is My Offering To The World One Day....We Will All Understand," on Twitter.

Smith is the eldest child of actor Will Smith and actress Jada Pinkett Smith, and lauded his father in the song, rapping, "My dad said to beat the system, understand it first / My dad's an inspiration, I respect the man and work."

Smith released singles "Blue Ocean" and "Jetskis" in 2014, and debuted a new EP, This is the Album, in February. The teenager made his major film debut in Will Smith drama The Pursuit of Happyness in 2006, and has since appeared in The Karate Kid and After Earth.
