Cairo – Marwa Yehya
After rumors spread about Hani Shaker’s intention to quit singing after the death of his daughter Deena, the singer broke his silence. Despite intense depression and sadness, he announced that he will not be quitting singing, as it was the dying wish of his daughter that he continue. Hani said that he is currently not taking part in any artistic activities because of how heartbroken he is. He asked director Mohsen Jaber not to publish his latest video clip of the song “The Best Memories” until he has moved past his pain. The video clip was shot last December in Turkey. Lyrics were written by Habi Soghayyar, music by Khaled Bakri and directed by Jamil Jamil Moghazi.
