Cairo - Arabstoday
Prominent Egyptian singer Hani Shaker denied recent circulating rumors that he intends on resigning from his singing career. At the same time, the singer revealed that he is unable to face his fans on stage after the death of his daughter Dina, who passed away this past June. Hani stated that what has been said about his resignation is mere lies and he has no intention to do so for many reason mainly due to the fact that it was one of his daughter’s dying wishes that he keeps on singing. Hani stressed that he is waiting for the right moment to return to singing on stage, and finds it very difficult to do fearing becoming weak in front of his audience when he sings songs that remind him of his daughter. He added that every romantic song he sang reminds him of his daughter and at the moment he cannot sing songs with a fast beat because the pain of her loss remains unchanged.
