Ezzat El-Alayli returns to script-writing

Egyptian actor Ezzat El-Alayli has told Arabstoday that he is busy with a script for a new TV drama. The new show marks the actor's comback to script-writing after nearly 40 years. "I have worked with director Youssef Chahine by writing the story of the film "Al-Ekhtiyar" (Choice). I also starred in it with the late actress Soad Hosni." As for details on the story, El-Alayli said: "I cannot mention the details of the series in the meantime, however Arabstoday will be the first to know!"
