Elissa in Cairo for X Factor launch

Lebanese singer Elissa arrived in Cairo on Monday to take part in a press conference to launch the Arabic edition of X Factor. The media evening, organised by television network CBC, will he held at a Cairo hotel on Tuesday. Elissa will attend the event with the talent show panel of judges, which includes Carole Samaha, Wael Kfoury and Hussain al-Jasmi. Arabstoday has learnt that Elissa will also perform live after the press conference, and sing some songs from her latest album, Asaad Wahda [The Happiest One]. Elissa is expected to leave Cairo for Lebanon later in the week. She will perform at Habtoor Hotel in Beirut on Saturday, before preparing for a Valentine's Day concert.
