Lebanese Actress Diamond Aboud expressed her pleasure for winning the award of the best actress in Cairo Film Festival for her role in "Syria" film, saying that it is great honor to participate in one of the most important cinema events in the world.
She stressed that she is extremely happy for participating in the Cairo Film Festival with a film discussing the Syrian conflict, praising the role performed by Belgian Director. She stressed her keenness to meet the aspirations of her fans.
She added that the film does not take any side of the Syrian conflict at the expense of others, while it discusses the conditions witnessed in Syria since the beginning of the conflict in 2011.
