Antonie asks fans to pray for his father

Composer Antoine Wadi Safi told Arabstoday that his father, the great Lebanese artist Wadi Safi, is responding to therapy. “Doctors said my father started responding to the medical treatment he is on and his health condition is becoming stable," Safi told us. "He will be kept in ICU for three more days, then the critical stage will pass, if God permits. I invite all his fans in the Arab nation to pray for him to overcome this crisis.” Antoine added: “Last week my father broke his leg and was operated on, the doctors had said his bones are fine. The problem is that he is anaemic so the operation had a negative effect on him. He has to have his blood changed three times a day due to his anaemia.”
