Cairo - Mahmoud Al Rifai

Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi has expressed happiness following Egyptian Army Chief General Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi's announcement on ousting Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi. Amal told Arab Today: "We Arabs  should all be proud of the Egyptians, no one knows how happy I am about what those heroes did. They once again made glory for themselves, and rebelled against oppression and tyranny twice in three years." She added: "When I listened to the speech of the army chief I trembled with joy, because his words made all Egyptians happy. I hope this happiness lasts forever and that it spreads from Egyptians to all the regions of the Arab world, so we can all live in peace."
