Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali attends festivities.

The Southern Municipality has today held festivities celebrating His Majesty the King’s Accession Day and the National Day. Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa patronized the event which was held at Khalifa Grand Park.
He was received on arrival by Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, Public Security Deputy Chief Brigadier Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Undersecretary Dr. Nabil Abul Fatih, Southern Police Director-General Brigadier Mubarak bin Huwail Al-Merri, Southern Municipality Director-General Asem Abdullatif Abdulla, MPs, municipal councilors and other officials.
The festivities included Bahraini Ardha show, a patriotic operetta performed by schools students, in addition to fireworks and other events. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa hailed the dedicated efforts which were exerted to reflect the crucial importance of the national days among people.
Southern Municipality Director-General Asem Abdullatif Abdulla thanked HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa for gracing and patronizing the celebration. He also commended Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf for his support.
