The General Directorate of Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate has marked the National Day and Accession Day in an event in association with organisations and school students.
Director-General of Muharraq Police, Brigadier Fawaz Hassan Al Hassan delivered a speech in which he congratulated the leadership and highlighted measures to fight crimes. He also highlighted efforts to combat drug addiction through the creation of a security team to collect related- information.
He announced the implementation of Interior Minister decision to oblige organisations' owners to install CCTVs by conducting an awareness campaign for shop owners in the Gold Suq to inform them of the importance of the decision.
The event concluded with the distribution of memorial gifts among the sponsors and the participants.
