He stated that there are branches for the university in each of Riyadh, Jeddah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, Hail and Al-Ehsa in Saudi Arabia alone, adding that 90 percent of the finance of the university's buildings in the Arab world comes from Saudi Arabia. He lauded the last 10-year plan of the university, which opening of several branches in major Arab countries, like Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon, thanks to the initiator and author of the institution Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, President of AGFUND and Chairman of the Arab Open University Council of Trustees.
