German amb. greets national team over 2018 World Cup
German Ambassador to Egypt Julius Georg Luy

German Ambassador to Egypt Julius Georg Luy greeted the Egyptian national team for winning a football match against Congo and being qualified to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
In a press conference Monday, Luy expressed wish that Egyptian and German football teams would play together a match in the World Cup.
Meanwhile, Luy said Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Gerd Müller will start a visit to Cairo on Monday for talks with a number of Egyptian officials on issues of mutual interest.
Luy said Müller will meet with Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr in addition to attending a meeting of the higher joint committee of economic cooperation at the presence of a number of Egyptian ministers.
During his visit, Müller will inaugurate a natural gas-operated power station in Beni Suef.
