Chairperson of Egypt’s Zamalek Sporting Club Mortada Mansour
Cairo - Ahmed Al Sayed

Chairperson of Egypt’s Zamalek Sporting Club Mortada Mansour blamed the media platforms and channels for their increasing criticism against the team and its board before the match unwarrantedly. He said that the media approach against Zamalek is not accepted.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that the board provided full support for the football team during the current period, while the loss is the responsibility of the players and coaching staff. He added that there are players escaped from participating with the team and the medical reports revealed their lies.
He added that he delivered a clear message to the players of the football team that they should bear the responsibility of the team during the current critical period, stressing the need for meeting the aspirations of their fans in all over the country and the Arab world.
He added that the players of the team should realize the value of the club for which they play, saying that he will not accept any player who does not appreciate the team or the club’s fans. He said that he will open the door for the players who aspire to leave the team at the end of the current season.
On the other hand, He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that he submitted a complaint against Egypt’s football body over the issue of Makassa match.
He stressed that the tickets of the coming match against Caps United will be sold in Alexandria, saying that they prepared five thousand tickets. He stressed that the fans who attend the match should respect the rules to avoid the strict measures scheduled to be implemented against the violators.
