Chairperson of Egypt’s Zamalek football team Mortada Mansour expressed his pleasure for the win of Egyptian national team during the latest match against Congo in the framework of the current qualifying round for the coming world cup scheduled to be held in Russia in the coming year.
He stressed that the current generation is considered one of the best in the history of Egypt’s football, expressing his appreciation to the players who exerted their efforts to win the match against Congo and to achieve the dream of the Egyptian people who were aspiring to qualification for the important championship for the first time in 28 years.
He blamed the performance of Egypt’s Coach Hector Cuper, saying that he was not prepared for the match, saying that this coach remind him with Inacio who led Zamalek during the latest season and failed to achieve positive results. He blamed Zamalek’s former Chairperson Mamdouh Abbas for his failure to sign a contract with Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah. He stressed that Egypt’s national team won the match thanks to the prayers of fans
In the same context, Chairperson of Egypt’s Zamalek football team Mortada Mansour praised the state of cooperation dominating the coaching staff, saying that such spirit will lead team to more victories during the coming period. He added that the latest win against Dakhelia football team came as a result of the cooperation between the members of the coaching staff.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that he is confident of the coaching staff, saying that it will increase the players’ motivations to win the championship during the current year. He stressed that the team was keen to buy the most important players in the Egyptian Premier League, saying that the players should work to win the league this season.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that the board plans to win the coming three tournaments, including CAF Champions League during the coming season, Egyptian Premier League and Egyptian Cup. He stressed that the team’s coach praised the performance of Zamalek’s players during the current period.
He told “Arabs Today” that, the club will try hard to win this championships to make up with the fans, and it will also try to win the Cup and the African Champions League. He clarified that they discussed the details of the team’s journey to Tunisia to prepare for the new season saying that the camp was extremely successful. He added that the coach has not submitted any demands over the players who join the team during the coming season
