A state of shock dominated the fans and administrative officials of Saudi football team of Ittihad Jeddah because of the financial returns proposed by Zamalek’s Chairperson Mortada Mansour to sell player Mahmoud Kahraba or to extend his loan to the Saudi team.

The Egyptian club approved the offer submitted by the Saudi team to buy the player, while it proposed 40-million euro as a financial return. The Egyptian club demanded to obtain five million euros to extend the player’s loan to the Saudi club.

According to Zamalek’s Chairperson, the Egyptian club has formal offers to sell the player, while they would not be announced now. He added that the player’s contract with the team is extended for five years, saying, “The club has the right to find better offers.”
