Azhar imam deplores terrorist attack

Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb has condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a security force on Monday in Al Daih village in Manama, leaving five policemen injured.
Such terror acts that aim to spread chaos, intimidate innocent people and destabilize Bahrain assert the importance of uniting efforts among world countries to eradicate terrorism and dry up its sources, Al Azhar, the highest seat of Sunni Islam, said in a statement released on Tuesday.
Also, Al Azhar wished speedy recovery for the wounded and more security and stability for the people of Bahrain, the statement added.
