UAE condemns Qatif terrorist attack

The United Arab Emirates condemned the terrorist attack on Al-Masoura neighbourhood in Qatif, Saudi Arabia, which killed two people, including a child, and wounded others.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation voiced support to Saudi Arabia, backing all measures taken to maintain its security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.
The ministry reiterated the UAE firm stance and utter rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, urging international co-operation and concerted efforts to eradicate the terror scourge, which threatens the security and stability of all countries worldwide
The statement praised the efforts of the Saudi security forces to maintain security and peace and to safeguard the security of citizens and residents in the Kingdom.
It extended condolences to the Saudi leadership, government and people, as well as to the bereaved families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
