National Defense Minister, Yaacoub Sarraf, received the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Massimo Marotti, accompanied by Italian Foreign Ministry Advisor, Carlo Baturi, with talks touching on the overall situation in Lebanon and the region as well as ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations. The meeting also dwelled on the preparations for holding the international conference on supporting the Lebanese armed forces in Rome
