The Prime Minister made the statements while receiving, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, Royal Family members and senior state officials, with whom he reviewed topics related to local issues.

During the meeting, HRH Premier affirmed that Bahrain boasts a distinguished civilisational image and a loyal people with a long history of cohesion and solidarity which had been spearheaded by the fathers and forefathers.

“We have to preserve such legacy and instill in the minds of the future generations,” he said.

HRH the Prime Minister stressed the importance of the interactive social events and the cultural and artistic momentum prevailing in the kingdom in boosting tourism and trade,

In this regard, the Prime Minister praised the key role played by the exhibitions industry in bringing to light the national products in the artistic, cultural, literary and economic fields, noting that such an industry, the exhibition industry, was given priority in the government’s strategy, being one of the pillars of plans to diversify the sources of income.
