His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today received Egypt’s House of Representatives Speaker Ali Abdel-Aal and the associating delegation.

HRH the Premier welcomed the delegation’s visit, which reflects the deep-rooted ties binding the two countries.

Egypt's Speaker conveyed confirmation of President Abdul Fatah Al-Sisi of Egypt’s to stand by Bahrain against attempts target undermining its security and stability, adding Bahrain’s security is an integral part of the Gulf’s security and Egypt’s security is an integral part of the Gulfs’, especially Bahrain’s.

HRH the Premier praised Egypt’s political weight at the Arab and regional levels, pointing out President Al-Sisi’s role in defending Arab and Islamic causes. He stressed that Egypt’s stability represents the Arab nation’s stability, wishing the Egyptian President and government more successes to come in maintaining Egypt’s security.

HRH Premier commended Egyptian supportive stances towards maintaining Bahrain’s security and stability.

HRH the Premier called for working together to sustain security and stability of Arab nation, noting the need for maintaining the solid stances against threats. He also called for unifying Arab discourse in confronting policies aim at weakening Arab nation’s stability.

HRH the Premier attached great significance to exchanging visits and coordinating stances to take on challenges sweeping across the region.

He paid tribute to the Egyptian community in Bahrain, which has contributed to the development and construction march seen by Bahrain.

The Egyptian Speaker welcomed HRH Premier’s interest in strengthening bilateral relations, lauding Bahrain’s supportive stances to Egypt.

He noted HRH Premier’s political wisdom and keenness to promote Arab unity. He also commended the Bahraini people’s loyalty and vigorous support for Bahrain.

He invited HRH the Premier to visit Egypt at the invitation of Egypt’s House of Representatives.
