Al Tayer reviewed the UAE's pioneering and innovative initiatives to achieve the vision of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who launched the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 to generate 7 percent of Dubai’s total power output from clean energy by 2020, 25 percent by 2030 and 75 percent by 2050.

Al Tayer also talked about His Highness's directives constituting a roadmap for DEWA’s ambitious initiatives and development projects, promoting sustainability, creating a community of happiness, and meeting the aspirations of Dubai’s citizens and residents. The delegation expressed its interest in participating in DEWA projects, and sharing best practices and experiences in clean energy to promote sustainable development in Dubai.
